PRP (platelet rich plasma) therapy is a method that harnesses your body’s natural growth factors from your own blood to heal and regenerate tissue. At the Hormone Zone, we use PRP in a variety of different procedures including: Vampire Facials/Facelifts, O-Shots, and P-Shots. The success of PRP therapy greatly depends on the concentration of platelets being injected. One of the key features that sets us apart is the quality of PRP we are able to render via a proprietary FDA approved centrifuge system. This system concentrates (delivers) the highest amount of viable platelets with the smallest amount of blood drawn from the patient. Our machine provides upwards of 9.5 billion platelets in a 7 mL treatment sample, while other methods, such as Eclipse, yield less than half of that. Our system also allows for a maximum platelet recovery of 80% (compared to the 30% PRP recovery rendered from other leading systems). High platelet recovery means a plethora of growth factors, and a plethora of growth factors means optimal results!
